8 times the orders from one Google campaign

Their Google Ads were split across five small campaigns. We replaced them with one Performance Max campaign for the whole catalog, bidding on the value of each sale. It brings in about 8 times the orders.

Tesla Restore store

Tesla Restore sells used OEM parts for the Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck through their online store. They sell door panels, trunk lids, bumpers, screens and a lot more to owners and shops who want a genuine part for less than new. They're an independent reseller and aren't affiliated with Tesla.

Where they started

In early 2026 their Google Ads were spread across five small campaigns. There were two Performance Max campaigns, two Shopping campaigns and a brand search campaign. Each one had a few dollars a day, and together they brought in a handful of orders a month.

When a small budget is split five ways, none of the campaigns makes enough sales for Google to learn from, so the account never really gets going.

One campaign for the whole catalog

In February we replaced all five with one Performance Max campaign that covers every product in the store.

Tesla Restore sells used parts, so what's in stock changes all the time. With everything in one campaign, Google can put the money behind whatever is in stock and selling that week. Separate campaigns each have a fixed budget, and that budget can end up stuck on parts that already sold.

The campaign bids on the value of each sale, so a trunk lid counts for more than a trim clip. Products, prices and stock come straight from the online store, and every order goes back to Google with its value, so the campaign learns from real revenue.

People shopping for Tesla parts search for the exact part and model they need. Performance Max shows them the matching product with its photo and price on Google Shopping, Search, YouTube and other sites they visit.

The result

We compared our campaign with the five it replaced, from February through September 2026.

From April to September, an average month on our campaign brought in about 8 times as many orders as the old campaigns did in their best month, all five combined. Return on ad spend was nearly 5 times what the old campaigns got. Orders from Google went up every quarter, from a handful a month to dozens.

New stock shows up in the ads as soon as it's listed, and the budget follows what's selling.

We've left their ad spend and revenue out.
